Hi Medone,

Great question! If you haven’t had contact with them in over a year, we’d highly recommend sending a re-engagement email asking subscribers if they’re still interested in hearing from you.

These emails are also great opportunities to remind folks of why they should remain subscribed (what value are you offering in your newsletter? What are the benefits for them in staying signed up?).

But I have a question for you. The backstory is as follows. The problem is that I have a list of people on it, but I haven’t emailed them in over a year. Should I just resume sending out newsletters, or should I double-check to see if my readers are still interested?
